Commons Road Nursing Home, Co. Meath. Over 100 new jobs will be created in Navan as construction begins on a new 62-bed nursing home on the Commons Road.

Lucy and Thierry Grillet, who also run St Elizabeth’s Nursing Home in Athboy, are the developers of the new facility. Cooney Architects designed the 'next generation' nursing home. The contract for the project has been awarded to Midland Contractors Ltd.

Some 40 jobs will be created during the construction phase of the project while an additional 60 jobs will be created in the nursing home itself before the end of the year.

The state-of-the-art nursing home is being built on a 2.5 acre site and will be a 3,500 square metre facility.
