Bryan graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2002 with a Bsc Arch Tech. During his studies he worked for Project Architects in Dublin on various commercial projects. Throughout his studies, and for 2 years after graduating, he worked for Richard Tuomey Engineering in Kildare, and Cooney Architects on various projects. From 2005–2007 Bryan worked for various companies in Australia.

Bryan rejoined Cooney Architects in August 2007.
