Biography.

 

Lara graduated from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon,in  2013. From 2010 to 2011, Lara was enrolled for a year at University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK, under the Master’s Degree Programme. During her last academic year, Lara developed her thesis about slums with Nicaragua as a case study: “Slums: projecting with and for the poor. A Case Study in Nicaragua”.

Lara is a registered intern architect for the Ordem dos Arquiitectos in Portugal.

Lara joined Cooney Architects in September 2014 and has worked on a variety of residential projects as well as administrative projects.
